How Coverage Works
Most health plans in Florida cover medically necessary behavioral and mental health services, including assessments, therapy, and applied behavior analysis. The specific services, copays, and authorizations required depend on your individual plan.
Before your first visit, our team helps verify your eligibility and benefits so you know what to expect. We recommend confirming coverage directly with your plan as well.
Referrals and Authorizations
Some plans, particularly Medicaid managed care and HMO plans, may require a referral from your primary care provider or a prior authorization before services begin. We assist families with this process whenever it applies.
Medicaid, Medicare and State Programs
We accept Florida Medicaid, Medicare, and state programs such as Florida KidCare and Children's Medical Services. Eligibility for these programs is determined by the state or federal agency, not by Nova Community Services.
Costs and Out-of-Pocket Responsibility
Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for copays, coinsurance, or amounts applied to your deductible. We will review any expected costs with you before care begins and answer any questions about your coverage.
