Contact UsWhat is a behavior & mental health assessment?
It is a structured evaluation in which our psychologists and behavior analysts review your child's history, strengths, and challenges using evidence-based tools to build a clear picture of their emotional and behavioral health.
At what age can my child be assessed?
We assess children, teens, and young adults. Early evaluation is especially valuable, but it is never too late to gain clarity and a plan.
How should we prepare for the first visit?
Bring any prior medical, psychological, or school records and a valid ID. It also helps to jot down the specific behaviors or concerns you would like us to focus on.
How long does the assessment take?
Most assessments are completed over one to three visits, depending on the complexity of the concerns and the tools needed for an accurate picture.
Will the assessment give us a diagnosis?
When appropriate, yes. The goal is an accurate understanding of what is happening, which may include a diagnosis, along with clear and practical recommendations.
What happens after the assessment?
We walk you through the findings and design a personalized care plan, connecting you with the right next steps such as therapy, ABA, or psychiatric care.
