Group Therapy Sessions
Find support and connection in our group therapy sessions, where we create a safe space together to heal and grow.

Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which a small group meets with a licensed therapist to share experiences and build skills together. It offers a supportive, social setting where members learn from one another while working toward personal growth.
Group Therapy Sessions are a dynamic and empowering experience, where individuals come together to embark on a shared journey of healing and growth. Facilitated by our empathetic and skilled therapists, these sessions offer a safe and non-judgmental space for open exploration and mutual support.
In our thoughtfully curated groups, participants find solace in connecting with others who share similar challenges. Each session becomes an oasis of understanding and validation, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Through evidence-based techniques and tailored interventions, our therapists guide group members in developing coping strategies, improving communication skills, and enhancing emotional resilience. The power of collective wisdom and mutual encouragement drives personal transformation.
At Nova Community Services, we believe in the transformative potential of group dynamics, as individuals learn from diverse perspectives and gain fresh insights. Group Therapy Sessions provide a unique opportunity to navigate emotional complexities and build lasting connections.

Contact UsHow large are the groups?
Groups are intentionally kept small, so every participant has space to share and feel heard while still benefiting from diverse perspectives.
What kinds of concerns are the groups for?
We run groups around shared themes such as anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills, and relationship challenges, so members connect with others facing similar experiences.
I'm nervous about sharing in front of others, is that normal?
Completely. Our therapists create a safe, non-judgmental space, and you are never pressured to share more than you are comfortable with. Many members find the connection deeply reassuring.
Is what I say in the group kept private?
Yes. Confidentiality is a core group agreement, what is shared in the room stays in the room, and the therapist reviews these guidelines with everyone.
Can I do group therapy and individual therapy at the same time?
Absolutely. Many people combine both; group sessions reinforce and complement the work done in individual therapy.
How are group members matched?
Before you join, we get to know your needs and goals so we can place you in a group where the shared focus and dynamic are the right fit.
Are groups available for children and teens?
Yes. We offer age-appropriate groups so children and teens can build coping and social skills alongside peers at a similar stage.
